I am a digital marketer, based in London. I’ve managed to see a number of sides of the industry, from small retailer (now expired), to big retailer, from small agency to bigger agency. I’ve filled a number of roles, from software developer, to web developer, to SEM expert. Currently I am Online Marketing Manager at the high-tech and rapidly growing online storage company, LiveDrive.
I believe that digital marketing means very different things to different companies, especially dependent on: size; where the primary business revenue comes from; and whether the business is B2B or B2C. Because of this the most challenging part of digital marketing is working out how best to fit it into a business. There are very few secrets in our industry, and being open with the basics benefits everyone. If someone won’t tell you how they do something, don’t let them do it for you!
This blog is a general place to muse and rant and put down ideas. I also enjoy photography so can’t resist posting the occassional picture here!
